Having decided on the structure of your business, it needs a name. As you might expect there are some rules about this, certain words are disallowed, you can’t name your business too closely to an existing name, other people may have trademarked certain words, do you want to imply a geographical or regional element to the business name? You can register your business name as a trademark if you want the best protection against others using it.
